Search engine optimisation
Whose finding who?
So many websites are not optimised effectively for the search engines (sometimes called search systems) like Google. There is little point in paying good money to get your web presence unless your intended audience is drawn to your site.
When search terms specific to your products are typed into a search engine you want your site to appear in the top 10 search results (or as close as possible!).
Many web designers add complex navigation systems that may confuse search engines. Search engines like to see text content in your site, not images and lengthy background design scripts. Clearly the site should have the right balance of design and content.
Techniques that the search engines frown upon (such as using link farms and keyword stacking) can see your site disappear off the radar because the search engines have penalised it. In reality, your site needs to be optimised for your intended audience not for the search engines.
Search engine optimisation - Here's what we do:
Personalised programme
We work closely with you, either in person or by email/telephone support depending on your location.
Keyword analysis
Investigate the keywords, phrases and questions (synonyms, antonyms, lexical analysis, phonetic, misteaks!!) that your intended audience might enter into a search engine and then integrate them into your site content.
Competitor analysis
See where your competitors are ranked in the major search engines, what links they have to their site, what keywords produce links to their sites. Learn what it is that ranks them where they are and apply this to your site.
Site content analysis and redesign
Tweak the design of your site, so it is more streamlined and keyword content rich so the search engine robots can breeze through your site picking up relevant information with ease and without interruption.
Search engine submission and indexing
However grand it sounds don't be fooled by search engine optimisation companies into thinking that being automatically submitted to 4000 search engines will boost your ranking. Being submitted to Google in Venezuela will not (necessarily) attract your intended audience if you are selling products in the UK. We currently submit your site to Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask and the Open Directory Project although this list is constantly under review.
Link boosting
The more inbound links you have to your site the more important it appears to the search engines. We will create a link boosting plan to ensure that the right people are linking to your site.
When we initially build a site we will optimise it for the search engines to read. Since optimisation is an continuous process, you can then if you wish purchase ongoing search engine optimisation for a 12 month period. Priced atThis differs to more conventional packages in that we do more than simply submit monthly keyword and site description to the search engines.
